Are you caring, dependable, and ready to make a real difference in someone’s life? We’re looking for Homemaker & Companion team members who share our passion for serving others — in a fully non-medical role.
What You’ll Do
Provide light housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, laundry, tidying common areas
Prepare simple meals and assist with kitchen cleanup
Go grocery shopping and run errands
Provide transportation to appointments, errands, social events
Engage in companionship: conversation, reading, social interaction
Offer off-hands reminders and guidance for daily routines (no personal care tasks)
Observe, report, and document any changes in client condition to supervisors or family
Important: This role is strictly non-medical. You will not provide hands-on personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, or medication administration.
Requirements to Apply
To be eligible, all applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be at least 18 years old
Hold a high school diploma or GED (or have equivalent work experience)
Have a valid Florida driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Carry auto insurance (if your role involves driving)
Pass background screening and fingerprinting, and be enrolled in the AHCA Clearinghouse
Pass a drug screening test, if required
Be physically able to perform light tasks (walking, standing, light lifting) — no heavy lifting or physical transfers
Communicate clearly in English (verbal and written)
Demonstrate compassion, patience, reliability, and good interpersonal skills
